Draft Regional Coastal plans are now online for public comment. Here is the information about them:
10 February 2015
Dear Coastal Stakeholders,
We are writing to invite you to help shape the future of Victoria’s coast and contribute to three new Regional Coastal Plans.
The three Regional Coastal Boards have developed these draft Regional Coastal Plans, building on the Victorian Coastal Strategy as well stakeholder and community input from our scoping phase in March 2014.
Consultation activities will be undertaken in the coming weeks. Comments are invited for the Western and Gippsland Plans until Friday 20th March and for the Central Plan until Tuesday 31st March 2015.
The Regional Coastal Boards value all the input we receive on these draft Plans and will consider your comments carefully as they will help shape the final Plan. We invite you to download a copy of the plan, register your interest in attending consultation activities and make a submission online here:
